The new Twins Stadium, Target Field, was open to the public over the weekend. I still don't believe in using people's tax dollars to build it, but man was it amazing! Everything about it was beautiful; it was spacious, elegant, convenient, and yet somehow "shoe-horned" into downtown. Since it was open to the public, we were able to go into rooms and wings that we would never be able to in the future. It was a lot of fun!

During our helicopter ride I took this picture - j/k. This is a model.In order to have full appreciation for The Wind Veil, you have to see it for yourself. It was designed by Ned Kahn. It is a blanket of metallic panels that are lit at night by LED lights. During the day, it resembles the ocean as waves of wind blow through it. It is one of the largest pieces of art in Minnesota.
