Wisconsin Family Reunion 2011

On June 11th, we got together for a Family reunion in Wisconsin. There were about 100 people who showed up! It was a combination of Matt's Grandma's family, and her sister-in-law's family. We ate, played games, had a silent auction, and enjoyed catching up with everyone.

Grandma Bernice and her sister-in-law are in the middle above the word "family". Grandma's family is on the right, her sister-in-law's family is on the left. Grandma had to wear a tie-dyed shirt, and then each of her 8 children's families had to wear a different color. Kathy (Matt's mom) and her family had to wear purple. The color-coordination kindof got messed up, though, when the weather turned out to be only in the upper 50's and windy! A lot of people ended up wearing jackets or sweatshirts over their colored shirt. (You can click on the picture to enlarge; see if you can find Me, Matt & Daryl!)

3 Months Old!

Daryl is 3 months old today! He is such a big boy! He talks and talks all the time and loves smiling at strangers. He's getting very close to rolling over, and he always likes to sit up and look around with his strong neck. His hands are more coordinated now, too, and he can grab toys and pull them to his mouth!

Young Couples BBQ

We went to a BBQ with our friends from church; hosted by Clay & Carrie (& Parker & Cooper).

A delicious array of food with pork tenderloin as the main course! Mark is re-telling how he mutilated the brownies while trying to cut them. We had lots of fun as you can tell.
